The PHP balance pressure foam proportioning unit system is mainly consisted of normal pressure tank, balance valve, foam pump, foam proportioner, other control valves and control system. The pump pumps out foam concentrate from the tank and it will flow through the balance valve and reached proportioner finally. Meanwhile, pressurized water also flows into proportioner and its pressure will be conveyed to balance valve from a branch pipe. The balance valve will adjust its opening degree according to the pressure and flow of water and reach dynamic equilibrium to guarantee an accurate mixing ratio. It can be feed foam concentrate even when the device is working, which prolongs the extinguishment time. There are two different kinds of dynamics to drive the foam pump: motor driven and hydro turbine driven.
Motor Driven Balanced Pressure Foam Proportioning Unit:
The motor driven balanced pressure foam proportioning system drives the foam pump with a motor. There are two motors that if one of them broken that the spared one will switch to work to guarantee the device operate normally.
Hydro turbine Driven Balanced Pressure Foam Proportioning Unit:
The hydro turbine driven balanced pressure foam proportioning system rely on a hydro turbine to drive the foam pump. While, the hydro turbine is driven by pressurized water.
Application:
The unit usually constitutes foam spray system and low/high expansion foam extinguishing system with pipelines, foam generators and foam nozzles. This unit provides foam solution for these systems through pipelines which are distributed in all destination areas and they are connected with generators or foam nozzles. The system works once there is fire somewhere and solution was transported to destination area through pipelines. Thus destination area gets foam solution to put out fire with foam generators or foam nozzles.
